Tiago Dos Santos · creator of h e n k o
Of Portuguese origin and initially trained in audiovisuals, Tiago found his true calling in food, nutrition, and Eastern philosophy. He studied macrobiotics for three years at the Macrobiotic Institute of Portugal and later moved to Spain to join the culinary team at the exclusive SHA Wellness Clinic.
He later chose Valencia as his home, where he worked as a chef at the Kimpira restaurant—part of the Macrobiotic Institute of Spain—and began teaching cooking classes and workshops. Those who taste his food describe it as subtle, delicate, and soulful, a cuisine he defines as Mediterranean-Asian, a fusion that evokes memory and emotion.
His career, marked by curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit, led him to create Aloha Vegan Delights, a small restaurant that became a benchmark for vegan cuisine in Valencia.
Over time, his vision evolved and gave rise to h e n k o, an ecosystem that integrates nutrition, science, sports, neuroscience, cooking, personal development, and Eastern philosophy, with one purpose: to accompany those who want to live more consciously through sustainable and personalized transformation.
